| Altera - Latin for the "Other". Altera as a community seeks to transform those around us we would consider others into neighbors. This transformation takes place within ourselves and how we see people - learning to see them the way Christ saw them. The name reminds us of our own tendency of see those unlike us as different, strange or foreign and to radically change this perception. |
